Job summary

Quantum Sky seeks a portfolio Director to lead our Intel practice, driving growth and program excellence across the portfolio. You will build and nurture customer and industry relationships with IC partners and select DoW components, reporting to the EVP of Intel and Space.

Strong leadership, P&L, and capture experience are essential. The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a hybrid work arrangement in Reston, VA, and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years overseeing a P&L of $30M-$50M or more with growth
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership in government technology solutions and/or professional services
  • Familiarity with IC missions and willingness to travel to VA/MD
  • Growth experience in digital modernization oriented to Intel customers
  • Experience with capture strategies and proposals

Description

Quantum Sky is searching for a portfolio Director to lead our growing Intel practice. The Director of Intelligence Programs will be responsible for driving growth and program excellence across the portfolio, which includes IC partners and select parts of DoW. The Director is expected to build and nurture customer and industry relationships across that portfolio to maintain an acute sense of opportunities and risks. This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Intel and Space. The Director will lead, develop, and manage a team of Program Managers and will play a key role in major business development and capture pursuits, helping to expand Quantum Sky’s capabilities across the Intelligence Community market.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a reputation for superior client service delivery, exceptional people leadership, P&L management, and growth capabilities. The successful candidate will be a master at translating Federal agency requirements, operations, and programs into new Quantum Sky engagements and relationships driven by best-in-class technology solutions.

This role requires a leader who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where they are key to shaping new solutions with the customer to enable mission and to meet or exceed growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large profit and loss organization, planned revenue, and execution of program growth initiatives.
  • Responsible for all aspects of program delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies to introduce new service delivery practice capabilities.
  • Develop efficiencies to maximize profit in all service delivery.
  • Recruit, develop, and train skilled delivery resources.
  • Provide leadership and vision to employees and instill a culture of customer service and accountability.
  • Build new relationships to expand Quantum Sky’s network and reputation with Intel customers as well as other key programs that have mission linkage.
  • Participate in proposal development from an operations and delivery perspective, taking responsibility for the management approach and program management plan, as well as participate in solutioning related to the overall technical approach and strategic pricing.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years’ experience overseeing a P&L of $30M-$50M or more with consistent year over year growth in that period. MBA or master’s degree in technical or business field is a plus.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership & general management experience in government technology solutions (i.e. product or hardware) and/or professional services. The ideal candidate will have experience with both. Military and/or government service may count toward this experience.
  • Keen familiarity with the component organizations, missions, and capabilities of the Intelligence Community (IC) and a willingness to travel to sites in VA and MD regularly
  • A proven track record of growth within a digital modernization or technology solution & implementation business, directed towards Intel customers.
  • Demonstrated success developing a business growth strategy and working closely with business development teams on capture strategies and proposals.

Desired:

  • Experience driving an inorganic growth strategy, integrating acquisitions, continuing to build culture, and building teams from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate and motivate project teams and work with all levels of internal staff.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers and senior executives
  • Passion for innovation and cutting edge-technology
  • Previous experience as a Program Manager and/or PMI PMP desired.

Clearance:

  • TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI

Location:

  • Hybrid role with the expectation to commute to Reston, VA and customer sites as needed.

Travel:

  • Candidate must be able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $250,000 and $275,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
