Job summary

InfoStride in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced Assistant IT Director to lead IT operations, cybersecurity, vendor management, enterprise systems, and IT service delivery. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage outsourced IT services.

You will oversee infrastructure, applications, helpdesk, MSPs, SAP integrations, budgets, and compliance, working closely with executive leadership. Local candidates only; 12-month contract-to-hire with 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive IT experience, managing complex IT functions.
• 3+ years of IT supervisory experience.
• Experience managing MSPs, outsourced IT services, vendors, and SLAs.
• Strong cybersecurity operations and risk management experience.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Must pass background and credit checks.
