Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group seeks a Director of Information Security (CISO) to build and lead our security program as we scale digital manufacturing for aerospace, defense, and medical customers. You’ll set strategy, policies, and controls to protect IP, production systems, and customer data while enabling fast growth.

This hands-on founding role stands up governance, hires and develops a security team, and partners with IT, engineering, manufacturing, and legal to embed security by design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ITAR/EAR in manufacturing/defense.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure), IAM, and OT/industrial security.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the information security program from the ground up, defining strategy, roadmap, and governance.
• Own compliance for CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ITAR/EAR with legal and program teams.
• Design and implement security policies, standards, and controls for IT, cloud, OT, and endpoints.
• Lead risk assessments and remediation prioritization balancing security with scale.
• Establish incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
• Secure production systems and manufacturing environments; partner with IT and engineering.
• Manage security tooling and vendor relationships (SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability mgmt).
• Develop security awareness training and insider risk programs.
• Recruit and grow the security team; engage in customer security questionnaires and audits.
• Report security posture and compliance to executive leadership and the board.
