The State University of New York (SUNY) seeks a Director for Inclusive Excellence and Institutional Success/Deputy to Interim System CDO in Albany, NY. This role leads system-wide DEI initiatives, coordinating across SUNY campuses and units to advance student and staff success in line with SUNY's four pillars.

Reporting to the Interim SUNY Chief Diversity Officer, you will oversee programs, supervise staff, analyze data, and develop strategic resources for campus communities, while engaging

Formación

• Bachelor's degree.
• Six to eight years of higher education or related field experience.
• Experience applying SUNY's four pillars with focus on equity and inclusion.
• Evidence of research, data analysis, assessment in DEI in higher education.
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a senior member of ODEI and a key SUNY System leadership-aligned liaison.
• Advance SUNY mission-driven programming across SUNY campuses and units.
• Develop, implement, and assess system-wide DEI initiatives.
• Support data-informed planning to improve student and employee wellbeing.
• Report updates and recommendations to the Interim Chief Diversity Officer.
• Prepare presentations and reports for the Chancellor's Office and System colleagues.
