Job summary

Medix Technology is seeking a Director of Implementations to lead a team of 4–7 project leads across nationwide radiology implementations. You will partner with senior leadership, IT, and operations to guide end-to-end deployments, manage roadblocks, and ensure delivery milestones are met.

Our client is a radiology organization, deploying an internally built AI imaging platform across various locations nationwide. They’re looking to bring on a Director of Implementations that will be responsible for managing a team of 4-7 project leads, working closely with senior leadership, IT and operations, overseeing the execution of implementation portfolios and working through roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• People Management & Team Leadership: Direct management of 4 to 7 Project Leads. Responsible for guiding, leading, and developing the team, aligning them with company culture, and managing team dynamics.
• Operations & Change Management Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership, operations leaders, and network leaders to set expectations, manage organizational change impacts, and ensure alignment across teams.
• Escalation & Roadblock Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for ongoing projects (handling on-call escalations), actively resolving roadblocks to keep implementation timelines on track.
• Implementation Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end execution of implementation portfolios, specifically driving transitions and deployments.
• Feasibility & Resource Planning: Translate project demands into feasible execution timelines and ensure resources are effectively deployed from start to finish.
• Travel: Travel 40%-50% as needed (typically Monday-Friday) to support implementations, go-lives, and leadership meetings.
