Job summary

Elevate Ventures seeks a Director of Project Management & Implementation to lead healthcare technology implementations from concept through go-live and beyond. You will own end-to-end PM strategy, align plans with software releases, and drive scalable processes across cross-functional teams.

You will oversee resource planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications, ensuring SOPs are tested and customers transition smoothly after go-live.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading project management in a healthcare technology organization.
  • 5+ years of experience leading people and teams through complex projects and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology related field preferred.
  • Experience working with large, complex health systems.
  • Experience developing and delivering project delivery strategies.
  • PMP, Scrum or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end project management strategy, building scalable structures and design frameworks.
  • Plan and lead multiple project initiatives, ensuring adherence to approved scope, technical specifications, and delivery schedules.
  • Build project implementation plans around new SaaS solutions with the ability to iterate as necessary.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure project implementations plans align with software releases.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues, developing risk mitigation plans and capacity planning.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure project scopes and timelines remain realistic and deliverable.
  • Lead and develop the project management team, clearly defining roles and responsibilities to effectively support operations.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to cross-functional teams, fostering best practices for deployment and ensuring accountability.
  • Collaborate with leadership and external stakeholders to drive process adherence and team performance across all initiatives.
  • Serve as a project manager on implementations, organizing resources, leading meetings and driving project timelines.
  • Translate complex business requirements into project plans, driving effective change control throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Maintain consistent, high-level communication with all stakeholders, from C-level executives to end-users, to ensure expectations are met.
  • Oversee the sign-off and testing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manage smooth customer transitions post-go-live.

Description

The Director of Project Management & Implementation is responsible for managing new business implementations by introducing new systems, programs, and technologies into an organization. This role is the business owner and leader of these implementations and is accountable for delivering business results. This role supports the ongoing needs of the business while ensuring best practices implemented throughout the organization. Provide technical oversight of the products' installation environment, maintenance of the system to ensure reliable performance. Advocate continuous improvement methodologies and tools across the business and responsible for facilitating project identification and implementation in coordination with facility operation.

What you'll do:

Team Leadership:

Individual Implementation (about 25%):

  • Serve as a project manager on implementations, organizing resources, leading meetings and driving project timelines
  • Translate complex business requirements into project plans, driving effective change control throughout the project life-cycle
  • Maintain consistent, high-level communication with all stakeholders, from C-level executives to end-users, to ensure expectations are met

Requirements

What you bring:

  • 5+ years' experience leading project management in healthcare technology organization
  • 5+ years' experience leading people and teams through complex projects and initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology related field preferred
  • Experience working with large, complex health systems
  • Experience developing and delivering project delivery strategies
  • A strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams
  • Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development and improvement, problem solving, communication, delegation, and planning
  • PMP, Scrum or similar certification preferred
