Washington University in St. Louis seeks a senior leader to direct the School of Medicine's simulation and standardized patient programs at the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center.

You will oversee QA, curriculum design, staff, and budget, coordinating with faculty and clinical centers to advance education in multiple health professions. The role requires a Master's in healthcare or education, leadership experience in healthcare education, and familiarity with high-fidelity simulation

Qualifications

• Masters degree in healthcare discipline or education.
• Experience in healthcare education leadership and educational outcomes assessment.
• Experience with use of simulation & standardized patients.

Responsabilités

• Data Quality Assurance: ensure QA standards and learner assessment data accuracy.
• Strategic and Operational Leadership: oversee Wood Simulation Center and Standardized Patient Center and implement vision.
• Personnel/HR Processes: supervise staff, recruit, train and appraise performance.
• Financial Oversight: manage budget, contracts, and equipment planning.
• Learning Management Systems: support simulator and LMS operations and act as back-up.
• Coordination of Curriculum Design: collaborate on instructional design and curriculum development for simulation training.
• Strategic Direction: contribute to long-range simulation planning and center support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
