Job summary

Independent Pet Partners, a leader in pet-care services, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to translate people strategy into effective HR practices that boost business performance and team member experience. The role leads HR operations, payroll, compliance, talent planning, and total rewards across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
7+ years HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience supporting multi-location, multi-state operations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
Provide counsel to managers and employees on policies, programs and procedures.
Lead talent management, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.
Oversee payroll processing, HRIS data, and reporting.
Develop and coordinate HR training and change-management initiatives.
