Reporting To: Co-Founder

NOTE (this role is Technical AI Integration and Deployment AND HR SME expertise): You must be able to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI agents using agentic workflows, LLM tool calling, orchestration, RAG, multimodal retrieval, API integrations (SAP, SharePoint, Pipedrive, Palantir), bidirectional data flows, authentication, security, error handling, and end-to-end production architecture. If you are not in the weeds on this you will not be considered/hired.

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing enterprise AI company seeking a Director, HR Solutions to help design and build AI agents that automate complex HR operations for some of the world's largest organizations.

This is not a traditional HR leadership role. We are looking for a senior HR Transformation and Technology expert who has personally solved complex enterprise HR challenges and can translate that experience into intelligent AI-powered solutions.

You will work directly with Product, Engineering, and enterprise customers to transform payroll, benefits, time tracking, compensation, and employee lifecycle processes through AI automation.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Product Development (50%): Partner with Product and Engineering to design AI agents that automate complex HR workflows, including payroll exceptions, benefits, time tracking, and employee changes.


• Enterprise Implementations (25%): Help customers implement, configure, and integrate AI solutions across existing HR technology environments.


• Customer Solutions & Pre-Sales (25%): Work directly with CHROs and senior HR executives to identify operational challenges, demonstrate solutions, and communicate business value.


• HR Transformation: Identify inefficiencies in enterprise HR operations and translate complex processes into scalable automated workflows.


• HR Technology: Work across Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, UKG, and similar enterprise platforms.


• Solutions Strategy: Help shape the HR product roadmap, define automation opportunities, and build out the HR Solutions practice.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Technology, or HR Transformation, including 5+ years in leadership.


• Experience leading complex HR transformations for large enterprises with 5,000+ employees.


• Deep hands-on expertise in US payroll, benefits, time and attendance, compensation, employee lifecycle processes, and HR compliance.


• Proven experience leading major HRIS implementations or transformations involving Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, or UKG.


• Strong technical understanding of HR systems, integrations, APIs, workflows, and automation.


• Ability to translate complex HR processes into technical and functional requirements for Product and Engineering teams.


• Strong executive presence with experience advising CHROs and senior enterprise stakeholders.


• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify customer pain points, demonstrate ROI, and influence technology solutions.


• Passion for AI, automation, and building innovative enterprise products. Coding experience is not required.
