Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Director of HR Employee Experience to oversee onboarding, HR Tier I support, leave administration and HR Services Center operations. You will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate with HR leadership and campus partners to set strategic direction and deliver exceptional service.

The role emphasizes process improvement, policy compliance, and data-driven decisions to enhance the employee experience across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required. A degree in HR, Business Administration or related is preferred.
• 6 years of progressively responsible HR and front-facing HR operations experience such as the HR Service Center, Leave Administration, and onboarding.
• 6 years minimum in a leadership and supervisory role leading different areas of HR.
• Experience working with current HCM systems, HR case management tools, applicant tracking systems and other related applications and technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• New Employee Onboarding: provide vision, leadership, planning and coordination for development of an efficient department.
• HR Tier I Support: lead the HR Tier I Support team to ensure high-level customer service across HR areas.
• Leave Administration: oversee leave programs and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• HR Service Center Operations: design and implement policies for HR representatives responding to employee inquiries.
• Team Leadership and Development: recruit, train, coach and build a strong functional team.
• Collaboration & Communication: maintain positive relationships with HR team and leadership to deliver effective HR services.
