Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Director, HR Business Support to lead strategic HR initiatives, partner with senior leaders, and deliver world‑class HR consulting across the business vertical. Onsite presence is required.

A Bachelor's in HR or related field and 10 years of HR generalist experience with 5+ years in leadership/HRBP roles are required; healthcare/academia experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 10 years progressively responsible HR generalist experience, including at least 5 years in leadership or HR Business Partner roles.
• Experience working with Executive/Senior level leadership.
• Master's Degree in business focus or HR preferred.
• Healthcare and/or academia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with all other HR leadership to develop, implement, and succeed strategies for the business vertical.
• Provide HR assistance, support and advice to assigned business vertical on various HR-related issues.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate business goals into actionable HR objectives.
• Ensure consistent application of HR strategies, programs, and policies at all levels.
• Coach and consult leaders and employees, serving as a first contact resource for HR needs.
• Lead implementation of HR programs for resource planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, rewards, engagement, leadership assessments, succession, and payroll.
• Develop HR analytics focused on workforce insights to inform leadership decisions.
• Deliver regular strategic data and narrative reports to senior management.
• Maintain high-level HR expertise and stay current with industry trends and legal requirements.
