Job summary

Workforce Connections, Inc. is seeking a Director of Human Resources & Administration to provide leadership across HR, payroll, benefits, and administrative operations.

You will partner with senior leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness, ensure compliance, and support employees through strategic planning and policy implementation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in human resources, administration, nonprofit or government operations, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Workforce Connections' human resources, payroll, employee benefits, personnel policies, and administrative operations.
• Supervise and support the Finance Coordinator and Administrative Coordinator while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, grant requirements, financial controls, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, organizational policies, and human resource systems.
• Partner with the Executive Director and Director of Operations on organizational planning, budgeting, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate audits, monitoring activities, financial oversight, and administrative systems that support organizational success.
• Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position.
