Job summary

Oak Park Place is seeking a Director of Housing to oversee the operation of its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Wisconsin. The role requires planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation in accordance with federal, state and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Manage conflicts and resolve complex problems.

Description

The Director of Housing responsibilities include overseeing the operation of Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Employees in this position must plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Assisted Living facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be directed by the CEO and supported by the Regional team to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Requirements

Director of Housing Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a passion for working with seniors

• Maintain positive communication with residents, family members and staff
• Manage staff meetings, trainings and new hire orientations
• Implement and follow all Oak Park Place policies

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree

Experience

• 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, long term or health care
• 5 years of supervisory experience in a long term or assisted living care setting preferred
