Job summary

Grainger is seeking a leader to provide strategic and operational direction for a high-volume distribution center. You will drive end-to-end processes from receipt to order fulfillment while managing a multi-shift team and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing managers, standardizing best practices, and achieving SMART goals through continuous improvement and strong financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible management in high-volume, multi-shift ops.
• Ability to influence across teams, suppliers and functional boundaries.
• Strong process improvement, problem solving and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume distribution center.
• Direct process development to ensure timely receipt and order fulfillment.
• Lead DC leadership to foster continuous improvement and empowerment.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and positive employee relations goals.
• Maintain asset control and optimize operational efficiency and cost per line.
• Oversee inventory throughput across the distribution center serving 100,000+ customers.
