Position Summary

Responsible for providing overall leadership and management of residents' health and well-being within the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding clinical care.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on health trends; develop and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Partner with the Administrator and team to maintain resident and staff health and safety.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy consultants to optimize pharmaceutical services.
  • Provide clinical expertise to licensed nurses.
  • Assist with educational presentations as assigned.
  • Assess ongoing resident needs and update service plans accordingly.
  • Oversee monthly updates and communicate changes to relevant parties.
  • Work with department coordinators on service and medication level adjustments.
  • Update resident service plans to comply with state regulations.
  • Participate in community awareness and relations activities.
  • Maintain communication with residents' families about health concerns and care changes.
  • Inform the Business Office of fee adjustments related to care needs.
  • Schedule clinical staff monthly and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Participate in rotating on-call duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality resident care, in accordance with organizational policies and laws.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; RN preferred.
  • Minimum one year in a nursing leadership role; senior living experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) certification.
