About the Job:

The Director of Health & Wellness is part of the Care Services Team and oversees the comprehensive care services provided to residents. This role ensures high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements, positively impacting residents' quality of life through oversight and proactive health management.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Manage the Care Services Department to deliver quality care and services to residents.
  2. Act as liaison between residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers regarding health issues.
  3. Perform hands-on care procedures within legal and company policy scopes.
  4. Support and uphold the philosophy, objectives, and standards of the Resident Services department.
  5. Ensure care meets residents' personal, physical, and cognitive needs, promoting independence and social interaction.
  6. Maintain knowledge of OSHA and state regulations, monitoring community compliance.
  7. Organize and staff the Resident Services Department effectively and efficiently.
  8. Evaluate staff performance and monitor resource use to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  9. Implement infection control practices and ensure staff training on these protocols.
  10. Guide staff to provide quality resident care that exceeds standards.
  11. Manage staff schedules, staffing levels, and participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
  12. Educate team members on incident report procedures, especially for falls.
  13. Lead in leadership, customer service, safety, and communication efforts.
What You’ll Bring:

Position Requirements / Qualifications: LPN or RN license required, with current CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks. Preferably, two years of experience in assisted living, with knowledge of relevant state regulations and proficiency in clinical software systems like PointClickCare and OnShift. Demonstrates competency in effective communication, problem-solving, and data analysis.
