Job summary

Jetson seeks a Director of Hardware Product to own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the all-electric home portfolio, including heat pumps, water heaters, EV chargers, batteries, and smart panels. You will lead a cross-functional team spanning hardware and software, with a focus on integration, channel alignment, and market strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including hardware or electrification domains.
• 5+ years directly managing and growing product teams.
• Experience taking products from zero to one and scaling a portfolio.
• Deep understanding of residential energy hardware ecosystems.
• Experience evaluating OEM partnerships and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year hardware roadmap across heat pumps, water heaters, chargers, batteries, panels, and software platform.
• Set build vs. buy vs. partner strategy with business cases and margins.
• Lead and grow a hardware product management team across functions.
• Define operating rhythms, requirements, stage gates, and quality standards.
• Own end-to-end NPI from concept to rollout, including certifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Field Teams.
• Architect integrated home energy system with platform approach.
• Define data model, telemetry, and interoperability standards.
• Bridge product, sales, installation, and service teams.
• Define pricing, bundling, rebates; enable demand response and grid services.
• Serve as senior expert on residential energy landscape and competitive positioning.
