Emporia Energy seeks a Product Lead to own three hardware lines—EVSE, Vue, and Smart Plug—driving the product lifecycle from roadmap to launch. You will balance field quality, cost, and supply continuity while using AI to accelerate decisions and reduce handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management for hardware with shipping ownership.
• DRI accountable for outcomes and not just definition.
• Experience with sustaining work: field quality, warranty and RMA.
• Proven cost-down and margin improvement on in-production products.
• Experience with component obsolescence and supply continuity.
• Comfort with competitive pricing in a crowded consumer category.
• Proficient in AI tools and building your own tooling.
• Strong cross-functional leadership without formal authority.
• Ability to own business case, unit economics, and margin trade-offs.
• Experience with a formal hardware gate process.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap for EVSE, Vue, and Smart Plug and prioritize concurrent requests.
• Drive pricing and competitive positioning in crowded categories.
• Build business cases with cost, margin, volume, and payback.
• Translate field data into prioritized fixes or new builds.
• Own launch and go-to-market for revisions and new SKUs with stakeholders.
• Lead AI adoption across the PDLC and document tooling ideas.
