Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Residential Charging & Home Energy Management to lead our home charging hardware line. You will own the product roadmap, business case, and launch for multiple AC products, coordinating hardware, firmware, cloud, and app teams to deliver solutions drivers and partners love.

You will drive the definition of load management, V2H/V2G, and smart-home standards while aligning with partners and internal teams to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in hardware product management with lifecycle ownership.
• Experience taking integrated hardware, firmware, and software from concept to volume.
• Proven track record in residential EV charging or home energy sectors.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with UL 3141, UL 9741, IEEE 2030.5, OCPP, ISO 15118.
• Bachelor's in engineering, CS or related; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product line roadmap and strategy for home AC hardware.
• Lead development through early access to launch, including factory readiness and certification.
• Define home energy strategy: load management, V2H/V2G, smart-home standards.
• Own relationships with strategic partners and represent product in pilots.
• Drive field quality with QA, CX, and Engineering.
• Coordinate cross-vertical dependencies with other AC charging teams.
• Define and execute go-to-market strategies with Sales & Marketing.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate product definition and delivery.
