Job summary

Advanced Technology Search Group is seeking a Senior Manager to Senior Director of Hardware Engineering for a client in high-speed optoelectronics. You will lead architecture, design, development, validation and production readiness of high-speed board-level hardware and reference designs for Analog IC devices.

• Lead architecture, design, development, validation and production readiness of high-speed board-level hardware.
• Own reference designs, validation platforms and interconnect solutions for Analog IC devices.
• Manage and mentor a team of 8 (6 engineers, 2 technicians) and coordinate with external vendors.

Our client is a leader in high-speed optoelectronics and photonics. They have a business unit focused on high-speed connectivity, optical components, and semiconductor technologies that enable data centers to efficiently process AI and cloud workloads. They are currently seeking a Senior Manager to Senior Director of Hardware Engineering who will lead architecture, design, development, validation and production readiness of high-speed board-level hardware, reference designs, and validation platforms, and interconnect solutions that enable the company’s Analog IC devices.

• The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of complex board-level PCB design with at least 3+ years of management experience.
• They will interface with Validation, Applications, and Signal/Power Integrity overseeing a team of 8 people including 6 engineers and 2 technicians.
• They will also interface with vendors including assembly houses collecting input from internal customers on key production readiness issues.
