Job summary

The role partners with physician leadership and CEO for medical staff development and engagement strategies, including contracts and physician alignment.

Responsibilities include overseeing department staff, ensuring quality and efficiency, managing budgets, and implementing policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership qualities and critical thinking through self-direction and initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially about patient or employee safety.
• Interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of ideas and plans; adapts behavior for tasks and individuals.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements impacting department.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and implements high-level strategic projects and processes.
• Oversees staff development and ensures staffing levels meet objectives.
• Leads community outreach and physician recruitment/alignment initiatives.
• Develops and implements marketing plans aligned with brand strategy.
• Collaborates with system Marketing and Communications on local and system plans.
• Monitors compliance with ethical, regulatory, and safety standards.
