You will drive major gifts, foundations, and corporate partnerships, building scalable systems and a high-performing team to support our multi-year plan and ambitious growth.

You will partner with organizational leadership and the board, refining fundraising tactics and expanding donor networks to empower millions of Americans through service years.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of fundraising or development experience at startups or growing nonprofits.
• Proven ability to raise multi-million-dollar investments from diverse sources.
• Strong management skills and ability to empower a team.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication for pitches and proposals.
• Trusted partner to leadership, board, and major investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy and day-to-day fundraising efforts to meet ambitious goals.
• Support major gifts, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Identify and cultivate new donors and prospects across multiple channels.
• Develop cultivation and stewardship plans to maximize engagement and giving.
• Prepare materials and participate in high-level investor meetings.
• Maintain fundraising systems and reporting to optimize operations.
