HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL is seeking a Director of Graduate Medical Education to oversee accreditation processes and institutional programs across residency and fellowship initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with ACGME standards and coordinating program readiness and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years’ experience in a graduate medical education or healthcare medical education setting. Equivalent work experience in GME may substitute degree requirement.
• Preferred: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years’ experience in a graduate medical education setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of graduate medical education experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required. Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of accreditation processes for each specialty program and institutional accreditation for programs at the hospital.
• Direct administrative operations and daily management of all medical education programs.
• Assist hospitals with creating new programs through applications and accreditation processes.
• Manage budgets and staffing for GME programs, coordinating with division GME leadership and facility leadership.
• Supervise program coordinators and provide feedback and development opportunities.
