Job summary

New Jersey Community Capital seeks a Managing Director of Resource Development & Communications to lead fundraising, capitalization strategy, and communications at a senior level. You will build and manage major funder relationships, drive revenue, and collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and COO to align funding with organizational priorities.

The role oversees government affairs, marketing, and donor reporting, partnering with program and lending teams to translate impact data into compelling funder

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in resource development, fundraising, or business development.
• Proven ability to manage a fundraising pipeline and close gifts, grants, or investments.
• Experience leading and developing teams and managing external vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising and capitalization efforts with annual revenue goals and multi-year plans.
• Cultivate and steward major funders and investors to meet annual goals.
• Manage donor campaigns, stewardship events, and sponsor relations.
