Job summary

Meraki Talent is partnering with a U.S. multifamily real estate investment manager to recruit a VP/Director of Capital Raising.

The role will work closely with the Founder to own and accelerate private wealth fundraising, targeting RIAs, Family Offices, HNW individuals, and private wealth networks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising capital through RIAs and HNW channels, deep knowledge of real estate or private markets, and a hunter mentality.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of raising capital through RIAs, Family Offices and/or HNW channels.
• Strong knowledge of real estate and/or private markets.
• Hunter mentality with a commercial approach.
• Experience managing a full fundraising pipeline from origination through to close.
• Ability to represent investment strategy to prospective investors.

I’m working with an established U.S. multifamily real estate investment manager focused on opportunistic, value-oriented investments across secondary U.S. markets.

The firm has a strong long-term investment track record and is now looking to expand its presence across the private wealth ecosystem.

The Opportunity:

They are looking to hire a VP / Director of Capital Raising to work directly alongside the Founder and take ownership of the firm’s private wealth fundraising efforts.

This is a highly commercial, externally focused role, with responsibility for originating from

• Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs)
• Family Offices
• High-Net-Worth Individuals
• Private Wealth Networks

The Profile:

The firm is looking for a proven private wealth capital raiser with:

• A track record of raising capital through RIAs, Family Offices and/or HNW channels
• Strong knowledge of real estate and/or private markets
• A genuine hunter mentality and commercial approach
• Experience managing a full fundraising pipeline from origination through to close
• The ability to represent the firm and investment strategy directly with prospective investors
• Strong communication, relationship-building and business development skills
