The Providence Marriott Downtown is seeking a Director of Front Office to lead our front-of-house operations with energy, precision, and heart. What You’ll Do

Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Front Office team

Ensure seamless daily operations at the Front Desk, delivering exceptional guest service

Champion guest satisfaction by resolving issues swiftly and professionally

Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management

Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, cost control, and strategic planning

Maintain compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards

Monitor and respond to guest feedback, ensuring continuous improvement

Support and execute emergency procedures and safety protocols

Drive innovation in service delivery and team engagement

What You Bring

2+ years of Front Office experience in a full-service hotel

2+ years of leadership or management experience

Familiarity with Marriott PMS is a plus (training available)

High School diploma required; college coursework in hospitality is a bonus

Strong customer service background and tech-savvy mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment

Valid driver’s license required

Multilingual skills are a plus!

What It Takes

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Comfortable working in variable temperatures and noise levels

Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Quick thinker with strong analytical and mathematical reasoning

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive guest and team situations with discretion and care

Strong organizational and time management abilities
