Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year models tied to value creation. You will manage a team of FP&A analysts reporting to the CFO and drive performance analytics across the organization.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders to identify margin expansion, SG&A efficiency, and working capital optimization, while delivering insight-driven financial packages to senior leadership and private equity sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field; MBA/CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years progressive FP&A experience.
• Mastery of financial modeling and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial models linked to value creation.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities in margin expansion, SG&A efficiency, and working capital optimization.
• Build scenario and 'what-if' models to stress test initiatives and quantify impact on P&L, cash flow, and EBITDA.
• Design and implement dashboards and KPI scorecards to drive accountability.
• Own profitability analytics to inform pricing, product mix, and channel strategy decisions.
• Prepare clear, insight-driven financial packages for senior leadership and the private equity sponsor.
• Support M&A activity, including target evaluation, due diligence, and post-close integration tracking.
• Manage and develop FP&A analysts and set output standards and timelines.
• Drive FP&A automation and closer integration with core systems for faster insights.
• Stress test forecasts and promote fact-based decision making.
