Job summary

Det-Tronics, a $200M global technology leader in industrial life safety, seeks a Director of FP&A in Minneapolis, MN. You will own the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year models, guiding value creation with a team of analysts and partnering with the CFO on strategy.

Lead profitability analytics, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives, while driving performance dashboards, M&A diligence, and integration efforts in a fast-growth, PE-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar field.
• 10+ years progressive FP&A experience.
• Mastery of financial modeling, scenario analysis and KPI development.
• ERP (JDE) and BI experience (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik).
• Proactive driver of change and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year models.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify margin expansion and efficiency opportunities.
• Build scenario models to test strategic initiatives and quantify impact on P&L and cash flow.
• Design dashboards and KPI scorecards to drive accountability.
• Own profitability analytics informing pricing, product mix, and channel strategy.
• Prepare clear financial packages for senior leadership and private equity sponsor.
• Support M&A evaluation, due diligence, and post-close integration tracking.
• Manage and develop FP&A analysts, setting priorities and ensuring quality.
• Drive FP&A automation and integration with core systems for faster insights.
