Job summary

Energy Infrastructure Partners LLC (EIP) seeks a Director of FP&A to partner with the CEO and leadership, building models, pricing tools, and planning processes from the ground up. This hands-on director role starts as an individual contributor with growth potential as EIP expands.

The role emphasizes disciplined pricing, program profitability, and growth planning, while collaborating with program managers, business development, and the accounting function to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Six years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience, including senior-level analysis or planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the company-level financial model (revenue, staffing, overhead, cash flow, scenarios).
• Price RFPs and proposals, develop cost assumptions, test pricing scenarios, and recommend bid prices.
• Develop standard pricing models, rate structures, and bid review checklists for consistency.
• Analyze revenue, direct labor, overhead, utilization, and gross margin for each program to identify drivers of performance.
• Create staffing models to show when programs can support additional staff and impact on margin.
• Evaluate mix of programs and funding sources to guide growth strategy.
• Analyze billing cycles, payment terms, receivables, and cash timing to improve cash flow and working capital.
• Model capital needs under growth scenarios and support lender discussions.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with leadership and program managers.
• Develop dashboards and metrics for leadership on margin, utilization, pipeline, backlog, and cash.
• Provide analysis for opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with administrative services and accounting to ensure data quality.
