Job description

Build a new business line from the ground up.

LivAway Suites is launching a new Flexible Living platform that combines the simplicity of an extended stay hotel with the feel of multifamily living. It offers furnished, flexible, month-to-month housing inside our hotels. We're hiring a Director of Flexible Living to build the program from scratch and scale it across a growing national portfolio.

About the Role

You'll own "Flexible Living" from launch through stabilization and nationwide expansion. That includes the operating model, pricing and renewal strategy, the guest lifecycle, demand generation, and the reporting that shows the program is working. You'll partner with General Managers, Operations, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and Legal, and as the program grows, you'll build and lead a small, centralized team.

What You'll Do

  • Design and launch the Flexible Living program, starting with a dedicated floor (30-32 rooms) at participating hotels
  • Build the Flexible Living Playbook, covering pricing, qualification, agreements, deposits, renewals, collections, and property-level standards
  • Validate pilot economics and use the results to shape expansion decisions
  • Drive occupancy through B2B accounts (construction crews, travel nurse agencies, insurance and relocation providers, corporate project teams) and direct-to-consumer demand
  • Set pricing and renewal strategies with Revenue Management to minimize vacancy and maximize retention
  • Design the guest experience from arrival through renewal and departure
  • Set goals with GMs, run a regular operating cadence, and hold property teams accountable while giving them the tools and training to succeed
  • Define KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards that tell leadership how the program is performing
  • Create repeatable launch procedures so Flexible Living can roll out efficiently in new markets

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in multifamily operations, apartment leasing, corporate housing, furnished housing, extended stay, build-to-rent, or a comparable residential hospitality model
  • A track record of keeping multiple locations at high occupancy through pricing, leasing velocity, renewals, and resident experienceMulti-property or portfolio-level responsibility (3+ years preferred)
  • A strong grasp of property economics, including rate structures, length-of-stay economics, deposits, direct bill, and renewals
  • Experience building new programs or processes, not only running established ones
  • Analytical rigor and comfort managing to KPIs
  • Clear communication, including presenting results to executive leadership

Who Thrives Here

The ideal candidate combines a multifamily operator, a leasing leader, a revenue manager, and an entrepreneur itch-to-scratch. You're energized by building something new and scaling it nationally. You're equally comfortable shaping strategy with senior leadership and working through execution at the property level.

Compensation and Details

  • $110,000–$135,000 total compensation (base salary plus incentive tied to occupancy, revenue contribution, and retention)
  • On-site at LivAway Suites headquarters in Lehi, UT
  • Regular travel to properties and markets for launches, reviews, and training
  • Full-time, exempt; reports to the VP of Operations
