Qualifications

• Proven experience in dental front office
• 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with word processing programs and spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• The liaison between patients and the practice, especially over the phone and at check-in
• Schedule patient appointments for hygiene and emergencies
• Ensure that financial goals are met (daily, monthly, annual)
• Serve as the point person for questions from patients
• Conduct daily meetings with staff and doctors providing an overview of the day
• Manage doctor/hygiene schedule
• Process/submit dental insurance claims
• Present/schedule treatment
• Handle financial transactions
• Review and enforce office policies as necessary
• Assist in onboarding new hires and manage staff
• Offer support to doctors and staff to ensure the office runs smoothly
