flyExclusive is seeking a Director of Finance in Raleigh to lead accounting operations, GAAP/SEC reporting, and internal controls. You will partner with CFO, CAO, and FP&A to ensure accurate financials and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include overseeing close processes, technical accounting, external audits, and SOX readiness as the company scales post-IPO readiness. Office-based role in Raleigh with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Deep, current expertise in GAAP and SEC reporting and ability to apply to complex transactions.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close across segments with accuracy and deadlines.
• Collaborate with SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting on research and accounting treatments.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: G/L, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany.
