talisman, a developer and operator of AI data center campuses, is seeking a Director of Finance to partner with its development, real estate and power teams in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

You will own the long-range financial model for the development pipeline, assess site economics, structure and finance projects, and prepare materials for executives and investors while growing a small team of analysts.

Qualifikationen

• Eight or more years of progressive finance experience.
• Data center finance experience required: at least three years in a finance role at a data center developer, operator, hyperscaler or digital infrastructure investor.
• Advanced financial modeling for project-level returns and multi-year capital plans.

• Assess the economics of individual sites and campuses, including land, power, construction cost and lease terms, and make recommendations to leadership.

• Track capital deployment and cost per megawatt against plan as projects move from development into construction.

A developer and operator of AI data center campuses is hiring a Director of Finance to act as the dedicated finance partner to its development, real estate and power teams. The position is based in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The work covers the economics of the business from site selection onward: the long-range model for the development pipeline, the returns on individual sites and campuses, and the financing of each project alongside treasury, legal and corporate development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the long-range financial model for the development pipeline, and translate it into a prioritized capital plan
• Assess the economics of individual sites and campuses, including land, power, construction cost and lease terms, and make recommendations to leadership
• Work with treasury, legal and corporate development to structure and finance projects, including joint ventures, sale-leasebacks and project-level debt
• Track capital deployment and cost per megawatt against plan as projects move from development into construction
• Prepare analysis and materials for executive, board and investor discussions
• Recruit and develop a small team of analysts as the function grows

Requirements:

• Eight or more years of progressive finance experience
• Data center experience is required: at least three years in a finance role at a data center developer, operator, hyperscaler or digital infrastructure investor
• Advanced financial modeling, including project-level returns and multi-year capital plans
• Hands-on experience with joint ventures, sale-leasebacks or project-level debt
• Comfortable presenting to senior executives and boards
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field; an MBA, CFA or CPA is welcome
