Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise, Workplace and Low Voltage Field Engineering to lead a North America organization responsible for field delivery across enterprise networking, workplace technology, and low voltage infrastructure environments.

The Director leads through Practice Leads and other Field Engineering leaders and is accountable for workforce, partner ecosystem, delivery performance, and operating health.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field engineering, enterprise infrastructure delivery, workplace technology, or related areas; 12–15+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Practice Leads and Field Engineering leaders across Enterprise, Workplace and Low Voltage.
• Set expectations for leadership, workforce readiness, utilization, delivery health, quality, performance, and accountability.
• Forecast demand, capacity, skills, geography, workforce risk, and future hiring or partner needs.
• Build workforce strategies balancing employees, contractors, and delivery partners by demand, capability, cost, location, and risk.
• Maintain a strong partner ecosystem to support delivery with capability and coverage.
• Monitor delivery risks, resource issues, quality trends, and escalations; drive corrective actions.
