Job summary

Merck is seeking a Director, Field AI Capabilities to define and deliver an integrated portfolio of AI-enabled capabilities for field-based employees across US and International Markets. You will translate field and business needs into scalable, compliant AI products that enhance planning, insight generation, learning, and personalized customer engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
10+ years in digital, data, analytics, AI, product management, or related roles.
Proven ability to set strategy and lead end-to-end delivery of AI or digital products.
Experience designing, developing, or scaling AI-enabled products, including generative AI.
Strong governance, privacy, and risk management in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Own the Field AI Capabilities vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
Serve as strategic partner to field, commercial, and market leadership.
Lead end-to-end product management for field AI capabilities.
Build scalable global capability models balancing common platforms and local needs.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant AI solutions.
Establish governance, risk controls, and lifecycle standards.
