Job summary

United Church Homes, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations across Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry within Glenwood Community.

You will manage preventive maintenance, ensure safety standards, and maintain comprehensive records of activities and parts used. The role requires at least three years of supervisory experience in building trades, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory experience in a building trades setting.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance programs.
• Must read, write, understand and speak English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with computers, internet and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry Services.
• Execute preventative maintenance program and record-keeping systems.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and replacement parts used.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders; manage external contractors as needed.
• Inspect and maintain equipment (generators, HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and code requirements.
