Village Farms International seeks a Senior Director, Facilities to lead strategy, reliability, and protection of our infrastructure across multiple Canadian sites. You will unify facilities, maintenance, sanitation, and security under one operating model to drive compliance, risk management, and readiness for growth in a GMP environment.

This senior role requires transforming strategy into disciplined execution, delivering capital plans, and optimizing asset performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, facilities, or related field.
• 12+ years leading facilities, maintenance, or technical operations.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments with GMP/GPP/GACP knowledge.
• Strong maintenance and reliability systems knowledge including CMMS and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Shape the facilities and capital strategy across sites and roadmaps.
• Lead capital planning, expansions, and equipment installations with governance.
• Build a reliable maintenance operating system across sites and improve uptime.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, security, and regulatory compliance across facilities.
