Overview

TerraBella Senior Living operates over 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, offering a range of senior living options including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care, with more than 2200 units in total.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Facility Operations to oversee the TerraBella Lincolnton community, managing maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, and safety operations.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets.
2. Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services in accordance with policies.
3. Manage campus operation and maintenance, ensuring high standards.
4. Develop vendor relationships and negotiate maintenance contracts.
5. Conduct apartment inspections prior to occupancy.
6. Handle after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
7. Implement preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
8. Lead housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring compliance with laws.
9. Review financial statements and address any deficiencies.
10. Manage expenses and budgeting processes.
11. Staffing and scheduling in line with operational guidelines.
12. Maintain transportation vehicles, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
13. Ensure safe transportation of residents according to schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher degree in a related field.
• At least four years of maintenance supervision experience.
• HVAC training or experience.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, plumbing, electrical systems, and repair techniques.
• Experience with emergency response systems and disaster preparedness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and multitasking skills.
