Job description

With moderate supervision, perform a variety of standard Facilities bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee building financial data and accounting practices across all Lines of Business (LOBs).
2. Create and track over 1,000 purchase orders annually.
3. Manage subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions to the general ledger across all LOBs.
4. Handle ordering, purchase order management, tracking, invoice processing, and supplier communications regarding delinquent invoicing.
5. Collaborate with Construction Managers and Facilities Specialists to ensure accurate budget tracking and PO management for projects.
6. Input financial and transactional data accurately into accounting workbooks and SRM for precise financial reporting.
7. Monitor cash flow related to invoices, follow up on vendor payments, and maintain meticulous facility budget records.
8. Maintain records for fixed assets, including depreciation, purchases, and sales.
9. Manage VIM invoicing, review, code, and approve non-PO invoices, and resolve invoice issues.
10. Work closely with finance partners to track assets and depreciation.

Job Specifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Knowledge of clerical or construction bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Ability to perform detailed numerical work and accurate arithmetic computations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in 10-key by touch (7,000 keystrokes per hour).
• Ability to key both alpha and numeric data (6,000 keystrokes per hour).
• Clean credit history as reported by credit report.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP, SRM, Coupa, Concur, Frosh, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, FEXA Database.
• Experience in Facilities Commercial and Retail Construction.

Compensation:
