The Residence at Dania Beach is seeking a hands-on maintenance supervisor to oversee housekeeping and maintenance staff, address plumbing and electrical issues, and ensure building safety and climate control. The role requires experience with routine repairs, HVAC, roofing sealants, and basic carpentry.

Strong multitasking ability and communication skills are essential to coordinate with residents and team members while maintaining high standards of upkeep.

Qualifications

• Address leaks, clogs, and drainage problems with plumbing knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs around the building.
• Handle electrical wiring issues safely and effectively.
• Maintain HVAC equipment to ensure climate control.
• Apply preventative measures such as roof sealants to reduce future problems.
• Identify and fix safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Paint, repair, or upgrade building surfaces as needed.
• Acquire carpentry skills for basic repairs around the facility.
• Perform groundskeeping for outdoor areas when present.
• Communicate well with residents and staff in a friendly manner.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure work is done properly.
• Supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Know AHCA, NFPA, CMS, OSHA, EPA codes and regulations.
• Multitask and set clear priorities.
• Communicate clearly in written and oral formats.
