Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development, sales or commercial leadership within the façade/building envelope sector.
• Established network across the NY/NJ construction and real estate markets.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and win large-scale projects.
• Experience with high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven mindset with ability to convert relationships into revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on high-rise projects across New York and New Jersey.
• Leverage relationships with developers, owners’ representatives, façade consultants, architects and general contractors to generate opportunities.
• Identify upcoming high-rise developments at planning, design and pre-construction stages.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to secure invitations to bid.
• Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and client meetings.
• Collaborate with estimating, pre-construction and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and secure awards.
• Monitor market activity and competitor movements to identify opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective projects from contact to contract award.
• Develop long-term client partnerships to drive repeat business and growth.
• Report on business development activity, pipeline performance and project acquisition opportunities.
