Job summary

Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center is seeking a Director of Event Management to lead a high‑performing team and drive excellence for large group events in Montgomery, AL.

You will oversee group and catering events, BEOs, resumes, and pre‑con activities, coordinating across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and robust revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Direct leadership of an Event Management team in a full‑service hotel or convention center.
• Hands-on planning of group and catering events, BEOs, event orders and resumes.
• Experience with Marriott CI/TY preferred; strong client communication across departments.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

• Director-level Event Management leadership in a full-service, convention center, or large group hotel
• Proven ability to lead and develop an Event Management team

• Experience with Marriott CI/TY preferred
• Strong client communication and cross-department coordination
