Job summary

Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking an experienced Evaluation and Learning Director to lead impact measurement, program effectiveness, and a culture of continuous improvement. You will design evaluation frameworks, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership and program teams.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role oversees the Learning & Evaluation department, including budget, staffing, data collection, and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in program evaluation, research, or data analysis.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies.
• Strong written and communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evaluation strategy to assess program effectiveness and impact.
• Establish KPIs and data collection methods at multiple levels.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform improvements.
• Ensure culturally responsive and equity-focused evaluation methods.
• Translate findings into reports and data-driven recommendations.
• Lead learning and continuous improvement within the team.
• Develop dashboards and reports for funders, board, and partners.
• Oversee data management, quality, and reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to align evaluation with organizational goals.
