Job summary

Mott Corporation in Farmington, CT seeks a Director of Business Optimization to lead the enterprise-wide transformation through Lean principles and the 80/20 framework. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will partner with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to drive profitable growth and reduce complexity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
10+ years of leadership experience in operations, business optimization, or continuous improvement.
Proven success leading enterprise-wide transformation and improvement initiatives.
Experience implementing 80/20 methodologies and complexity reduction strategies.
Cross-functional project leadership with measurable impact.
Manufacturing/industrial operations experience preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred.

Drive initiatives to improve growth, profitability, efficiency, and performance.
Identify and execute high-impact improvement opportunities.
Lead strategic projects and monitor results against objectives.
Develop metrics and reporting to measure business impact.
Deploy 80/20 framework across organization and reduce complexity.
Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives.
Coach leaders and teams in Lean and continuous improvement methods.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning across functions.
