Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence & Lean Transformation to lead the enterprise Lean strategy, standards, and governance. You will coach cross-functional teams to deliver sustained improvements in efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes across the organization.

You will partner with the SVP Transformation Office and executives to translate priorities into measurable results, sustainment, and capability development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Lean certification, Six Sigma certification, or equivalent credentials preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Lean, operational excellence, transformation or related disciplines.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide Lean initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• Facilitation of Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem solving.
• Experience coaching senior leaders and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Experience in complex, matrixed organizations and multiple priorities.
• Financial services, technology, operations, consulting, or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Lean roadmap aligned with Transformation Office priorities.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance outcomes.
• Partner with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and design practical solutions.
• Establish Lean standards, governance, and best practices supporting sustainable improvement.
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving activities.
• Apply advanced Lean and quality methodologies such as A3, daily management, and standard work.
• Identify barriers to flow and performance across cross-functional value streams.
• Provide executive coaching and advisory support to leadership on Lean transformation.
• Lead organizational readiness and change enablement for successful implementation.
• Develop executive reporting on transformation progress and benefits.
