Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to join a dynamic team in the United States. The role emphasizes designing and implementing instrument interfaces, middleware, and data services within a Windows/Web environment.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and supporting production systems, with on-call duties and post-implementation support. Bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 5+ years Windows app development (Client Server/Web).
• 7+ years JPA/ORM Hibernate, JUnit, SQL, XML/XSD, JSON, Oracle, Iris for Health.
• 5+ years troubleshooting enterprise systems incl. instrument interfaces and LIS.
• 5+ years InterSystems Cache/Iris for Health and Windows apps.
• 5+ years with LIS, instrument interfaces and middleware.
• 5+ years with technical design docs using Word, Visio, etc.
• 5+ years data modeling and system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications for instrument interfaces, middleware and services.
• Design, code, test, debug, and troubleshoot interfaces and apps.
• Analyze and modify programs for efficiency and new needs.
• Support and maintain systems and applications.
• Provide on-call support for production systems.
• Assist during/after system implementations and conversions.
• Consult with users to clarify program objectives.
