Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace seeks an exceptional Director of Engineering to lead and grow a multidisciplinary team developing next-generation UAS and Advanced Air Mobility technologies. You will guide avionics, actuation, flight control, environmental control, propulsion, and related systems, while partnering with customers and broader engineering groups to translate needs into actionable plans.
The role requires 15+ years in engineering/R&D and proven leadership; US Citizenship is required for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering or related technical field; significant engineering/R&D experience.
- 15+ years overall engineering/R&D experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and achievements.
- US Citizens due to government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams to solve complex engineering problems.
- Champion team engagement and Agile practices to improve R&D velocity.
- Accelerate innovation and growth with senior managers, engineers, scientists and technicians.
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to translate needs into concrete development plans.
- Lead growth initiatives with Honeywell groups to address next growth areas.
