Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an exceptional Director of Engineering to lead a diverse team developing next‑generation UAS and Advanced Air Mobility technologies. You will guide engineers, scientists and technicians, translating customer needs into actionable plans and ensuring execution meets aggressive business goals.

Responsibilities include driving Agile practices, fostering collaboration across functions, and leading high-impact initiatives with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years overall engineering/R&D experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and achievements.
• US Citizens due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop a team of engineers, scientists and technicians.
• Lead Agile teams to improve R&D velocity and effectiveness.
• Drive growth by aligning resources with customer needs and strategic goals.
• Partner with customers and broader teams to prioritize development efforts.
