Job summary

The University of Connecticut College of Engineering seeks a full-time Director of Engineering Student Engagement to lead student-focused programming and learning experiences. Hybrid role with strong on-campus expectations and occasional evening/weekend events as needed.

Reports to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and partners across campus to foster belonging, academic success, and global learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, international education, engineering education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for student engagement programs aligned with the undergraduate engineering mission.
• Direct international engineering programs and dual-degree partnerships.
• Supervise staff, manage budgets, and develop learning outcomes and assessments.
• Collaborate with campus partners to plan and implement engagement initiatives.
• Lead evaluation activities to improve student experience and learning outcomes.
• Represent the College at meetings and outreach activities related to undergraduate education and student success.
