BCES Global seeks a Director of Engineering to unify and lead the company’s electrical engineering function as a shared service across North America. You will design the operating model, build the team, set standards, and partner with business development to pursue large platform-level opportunities.

You’ll lead multi-site teams, drive governance, and ensure technical excellence while aligning with executive goals and growth across OpCos in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; P.E. designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience operating within a shared-services or multi-entity organizational structure.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Canada and the U.S.
• Proven ability to lead engineering across multi-site operations and acquisitions.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the engineering strategy as a shared service across all operating companies.
• Build and scale the engineering organization, including hiring and development of managers.
• Establish platform-wide standards, QA/QC, and budgeting for shared services.
• Lead business development input on proposals and client discussions.
• Represent engineering at the leadership table and with boards.
